Two Journalists of Ningarhar provincial radio and Television (RTA) while returning from Ghani Khil district of said province to the capital city of Jalalabad were injured on Sunday 21st January. Their driver was shot to death.
According to RTA official interviewing by Nai over all condition of injured is satisfaction.
Abdul Mujeeb Khalvatgar Bai director says:” there is no usable procedure to secure Afghan journalists. It goes like it’s we will be witness another bloody year of 2018 for them.”
Afghanistan is a dangerous place for media and journalists. In 2017 year 21 journalists and media staff were killed in Afghanistan. It was 14 in 2016 and 4 journalists killed in 2015.
