Nai Supporting Open Media in Afghanistan believes that conduction or arrangement of such competition for publication and dissemination of disrespectful images of Holy prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is an explicit violation of freedom of thoughts in expression and freedom of religion.
Freedom of expression is an accepted humans’ principle but the principle has been raised as a value since it respects others’ rights and worth. Furthermore, Universal Declaration of Human Rights and International Convention of Civil and Political Rights which are two major documents in order to recognize the freedom of expression and freedom of religion. Both Universal Declaration of Human Rights and International Convention of civil and political rights respect freedom of expression and religion.
Conduction of such competition is scandal to more than 20% of the population on earth which is more than 2 billion.
Moreover, the competition has humiliated beliefs of the billions of Muslims around the world and wounded their emotions.
Nai as supporter of freedom of expression persistently asks international human rights organizations in specific the United Nation Human Rights Council to prevent the conduction of such competitions.

Conduction of such insulting competition against such a pattern of human rights and humanity can itself be figured up humiliation to humanity.
