Social Media week should be into Afghan government and UN calendars

Nai Supporting Open Media in Afghanistan asks Afghan government and UN agencies to incorporate Social Media Week into their calendars.
Social Media Week for the first time in Afghanistan named by officially by Nai Supporting Open Media in Afghanistan.
There are TV, Radio or Press Days and weeks incorporated into national or international calendars, but there is no day or week under the name of Social Media at all. Despite to this fact that Social Media is growing day by day and is now the main machine of dissemination of information and news among public, it is really needed to have a week under the name of Social Media Week into Afghan government and UN calendars.
Social Media Week, inaugurated today, 22, July 2012 during the morning at Nai Supporting Open Media in Afghanistan through a press conference and a facebook post exhibition. The week and the exhibition is opened through Thursday 26th, 2012. This week is being celebrated under the title of “ let’s know social media better and better”.
