Dead body of Mohammad Muhsin Hashimi, who worked for Saday-e- Nejraab radio stations in Kapisa province has been found near his home village of Kharij Dara in Nejraab district.
Family of Muhsin Hashimi informed Nejraab’s security organs about his abduction case on 1st May 2013. But his dead body found 200 meters away of his home after 19 days.
Despite the fact that Mr. Hashim was a technical staff at Saday-e-Nejrab radio station, he was also producing and broadcasting entertainment programs in this station.
Security officials in Kapisa province have told that Mr. Hashimi’s dead body has been sent to Forensics Medicines for further investigations.
Hashimi’s wife has told police that before his murder, he had been threatened many times but the whereabouts and identity of those who had threatened him is still not known.

Head of NAI office also seriously asks the detective and security organs in Kapisa province to identify and pursue the murderers of Mr. Muhsin Hashimi as soon as possible.
Two cases of journalists’ murder during one week have seriously raised concerns among the Afghan media society. Nai supporting media in Afghanistan have recently expressed its concerns over violence against the journalists in current year; however these cases have made such concerns more severe.
Based on report from International Federation of Journalists, during the past week on May 14, another journalist whose name was Mohammad Nasim Toorak, have been killed by unknown persons in eastern Nangarhar province.
