The federal government of Pakistan recently has banned the Afghan TV media broadcasting through cable in Baluchistan state.

This decision was proposed by the organization of managing electronic media (PEMRA) and implemented by state government of Baluchistan. As supporting open media organization, Nai believe that access to information is the basic right of every citizen, particularly for Afghan refugees who myriads of them live in mentioned state and Pakistan government as a host should respect their rights who want to to know about the happenings in their country. The national unity government of Afghanistan should use all possible ways to reactivate the coverage of broadcasting Afghan media. Hereby, we ask the ministry of foreign affairs and ministry of information and culture as well to do their best for lifting the bans and let people to have their rights and access to information.
